| Children's Accidental Fracture (C-AF) |

This benefit pays a fixed amount in the event of an accident which causes a fracture to one of the policyowner's children. This benefit may be added only when the Children's Protection Benefit is chosen. The following amounts are payable depending on the fracture:
- skull, pelvis, femur, spine: $5,000
- rib, sternum, scapula, humerus, patella, tibia, fibula: $1,500
- any other bones: $750
Issue Ages - (Age nearest)
- Policyowner: age 18 to 55
- Child: 24 hours to age 21 or up to age 25, if a full-time student

- Fixed - Guaranteed
- Ceases to be payable on the policyowner's 65
birthday
Termination of Coverage
The earliest of:
- the policyowner's 65
birthday
- the last insured child turns 21 or 25, if a full-time student
- the date the benefit or the contract is terminated
Characteristics
The benefit is payable for each fracture providing that they result from separate accidents. The benefit will be doubled under certain circumstances (e.g. accident aboard public transportation). When several fractures result from the same accident, the Company will pay the highest benefit amount. If the insured dies within one year following the accident and a benefit has already been paid under this benefit, it will be deducted from the life insurance amount payable through the Children's Protection Benefit.
