3. Underwriting
Summary of major underwriting rules:
- For amounts of up to $100,000 inclusive, all children must have equivalent insurance, in other words, the same insurance amount.
- For amounts exceeding $100,000, the critical illness coverage should not exceed 50% of the parent's coverage. All children must have equivalent insurance, in other words, the same insurance amount.
Please note that these are general rules only and that some exceptions may apply. Special situations are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
